Job Description

Dental assistant in surgical periodontal practice with one doctor.

Assist chairside
X-rays series (BWX, FMX, PA's)
Digital periocharting
Take vitals
Complete digital chart notes.
Proofread letters to referring offices and emails through the dental program.


Pay Range: $27.00 to $32.00

Bonus: No

401K: Yes up to 3% match

Paid Time Off:  Vacation Pay and Holiday Pay: Eligible at one year, renewed on hire date. Based on hours working.

Required Qualifications :


Work Schedule: Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. Patients scheduled 8-12 and 1-4. 1-hour lunch and 1 hour at the end of the day for clean up and next day prep.

Years Experience Required: 3

Required Skills:

Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience in periodontal or oral surgery offices is preferred.

Current Washington State Dental Assistant License.
Completion of a recognized Dental Assistant course program.
Working knowledge of dental software for digital patient charting.
Computer knowledge to be able to proofread letters, attach x-rays/periocharting, and send letters electronically.
Working knowledge of dental radiograph techniques and principles.
Ability to manage your own and patient schedules.
Ability to communicate with patients professionally.
Ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
