Dental Treatment Coordinator Full-Time

Job Description: The Treatment Coordinator is responsible for the check-out desk and the restorative schedule. Checks patients out, collects patient payments at check out to keep A/R down, understands the patient ledger, and answers patient questions about the ledger. Prepares and presents treatment plans to patients, generally as part of the checkout process. Competently schedules 3 columns of restorative, including implant surgeries, according to our scheduling protocol, such that the office is scheduled to goal and that the Dr. runs on-time and un-stressed. Prepares the restorative schedule by making confirmation calls, confirming premeds, confirming lab cases. Brings information to the morning huddle that will help the team schedule to goal, including alerting the team to patients on the schedule with unscheduled treatment and unscheduled family members. Follows up on unscheduled treatment to ensure that the Dr.'s columns are consistently scheduled to goal.
Pay Range: $22/hr DOE

Work Schedule: Mon-Thurs, hours 7:30-5:00
Years Experience Required: 2 years in a Treatment Coordinator position
Required Skills: Must have excellent customer service skills: professional appearance and demeanor, friendly, always upbeat, compassionate and kind to patients. Must be able to follow existing office protocols. Must be a team player with a proven ability to get along well with others and work as part of a highly coordinated team who loves supporting each other and working together to provide outstanding customer service.
