Dental Sterilization Technician

Job Description: We are looking for a Dental Sterilization Technician to:

· Disinfect and turn over dental operatories between patients
· Clean, decontaminate and sterilize instruments
· Operate sterilization equipment
· Inventory and restock supplies
· Perform daily and weekly infection control tests
· Inspect, monitor, and perform routine equipment maintenance
· Maintain highest standards and follow regulatory guidelines.

Compensation/Benefits:

Pay Range:  $18-$21/hr.

Bonus: Quarterly

401K:  Yes with 3% employer match

Number of Dentists: 2

Number of Registered Dental Hygienists: 2

Number of Front Office Staff: 4

Number of Sterilization Techs: 0

Requirements:                                                                 

Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:30-4:30 (1 hr for lunch).  Occasionally may need to work on Fridays.

Years Experience Required: New grads

Required Skills: Positive, team-oriented, eager-to-learn attitude is paramount.

Other Requirements:  Registered Dental Assistant
Graduate of Dental Assisting program that is a minimum of 6 months
