Job Description: Dental Receptionist 


Overview: Join our dedicated team, which provides exceptional dental care for families in a warm, welcoming environment. We are looking for a skilled Dental Receptionist who will be instrumental in ensuring our office runs smoothly and that our patients receive the best possible service.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Greet and welcome patients as they arrive.

  • Schedule and confirm appointments.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

  • Manage phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries.

  • Process insurance claims and verify patient information.

  • Assist with billing and payment processing.

  • Keep the reception area clean and organized.


Requirements:



  • Proficiency in administrative tasks, including 10-key typing and documentation review.

  • Previous experience in a dental office is preferred.

  • Familiarity with dental software.

  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient care.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of dental receptionist duties and best practices.


Compensation:



  • Pay Range: $28-35 per hour

  • Bonus: Yes

  • Dental Insurance: Provided in-office

  • Other Benefits: Parking and monthly performance-based bonuses

  • 1 Dentist

  • 1 Registered Dental Hygienist

  • 1 Assistant

  • 1 Front Office Staff

Work Schedule:



  • Monday: 10 AM - 5 PM

  • Tuesday: 7 AM - 2 PM

  • Wednesday: 7 AM - 2 PM

  • Thursday: 7 AM - 2 PM

  • Friday: 7 AM - 2 PM


Schedule Description: This position involves a varied schedule throughout the week, with one later start on Monday and earlier hours Tuesday through Friday.


Experience Required:



  • Minimum of 2 years in a dental office or similar environment.


Required Skills:



  • Proficiency in administrative tasks, including:

    • 10-key typing

    • Documentation review

    • General office duties



  • Experience with dental software is preferred.

  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient care.

  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of dental receptionist duties and best practices for patient service.
