Job Description:


Are you a dental hygienist with a positive attitude and a passion for patient care? Advanced General Dentistry is seeking an energetic team player to join our practice. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in periodontal treatment planning and patient education. With Dentrix software and Schick X-rays at your disposal, you'll have the tools you need to provide high-quality care and support our mission of promoting optimal oral health.


Responsibilities:



  1. Perform dental cleanings and periodontal assessments for patients of all ages.

  2. Collaborate with dentists to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.

  3. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive dental care.

  4. Utilize Dentrix software to document treatment notes and maintain accurate patient records.

  5. Take and interpret Schick X-rays to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.

  6. Provide chair-side assistance to dentists during procedures as needed.

  7. Foster positive relationships with patients and create a comfortable and welcoming environment.

  8. Demonstrate attention to detail in all aspects of patient care and clinical procedures.

  9. Act as a patient advocate and ensure their needs are met throughout their dental visit.

  10. Collaborate with colleagues to support a cohesive and efficient team environment.


Requirements:



  1. Current dental hygiene license in the state of [State].

  2. Positive attitude and energy with a commitment to teamwork.

  3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  4. Ability to build rapport with patients and provide effective patient education.

  5. Attention to detail and accuracy in clinical procedures and documentation.

  6. Proficiency with Dentrix software and Schick X-rays preferred but not required.

  7. Willingness to adapt to new technologies and learn new skills.

  8. Dedication to providing exceptional patient care and improving oral health outcomes.

Work Schedule: This position is for 2-3 days per week, depending upon candidate’s preference and availability. Potential days/hours for this position are Mon 7:30-4:30, Tue 7:30-3:30, Wed 7:30-3:30, and Thurs 7:30-3:30.
