Job Description:

As a Dental Hygienist at our practice, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dental care and promoting oral health among our patients. We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual who is passionate about preventive care, meticulous in their work, and possesses strong clinical skills, particularly in perio diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include:

• Performing a wide range of dental hygiene procedures, including X-rays, probings, prophylaxis, scaling and root planing (SRP), oral hygiene instructions, and periodontal maintenance.


• Collaborating with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operation of the practice.


• Maintaining a clean and organized operatory, including turnover and sterilization of instruments, to uphold infection control standards and ensure patient safety.


• Demonstrating friendly and effective communication with both patients and colleagues to foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the office.


• Flexibility to work part-time hours, specifically Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Qualifications:

• Valid license to practice dental hygiene in the state of Washington.


• Strong clinical skills with a focus on perio diagnosis and treatment.


• Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures, including X-rays, probings, prophylaxis, and SRP.


• Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.


• Experience with Eaglesoft is preferred, but we are willing to train a quick learner.


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced dental practice environment.

Requirements:                                                                 

Work Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm; the first patient is at 9 am, but the hygienist must arrive 30 minutes early to set up.

Years Experience Required: New graduates and experienced welcome to apply

Required Skills: General duties of hygienists- including X-rays, probings, prophys, SRPs, oral hygiene instructions, operatory turn-over, and instrument sterilization.
