Dental Hygienist Part-Time

Practice Description:  This dental office is a very busy full-scale General Dental office with 2 Doctors, 2 assistants, 2 front office staff, and 4 hygienists. We are seeking a hygienist that would like to work Wednesday and Thursday shifts. The hours needed are:
Wednesday 7:30 am-5:00 pm
Thursday 7:30 am-5:00 pm
If you are a new or a recent graduate, we have excellent hygienists that are great mentors. If you are experienced and you are a hygienist who loves to learn new things that could provide better patient care, this is the office. The lead dentist is a, DDS, DABOI is 1 of 11 Dentists in the entire state of Washington who has achieved the highest credential in Implantology. Minimum Required Education
• Degree from a Dental Hygiene Program accredited through the American Dental Association (ADA) Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CPR/AED) certification.
Job-Specific Functions/Performance Expectations:
Performs duties in accordance with licensure codes to practice hygiene in the state of Washington. Duties include providing local anesthetic, oral prophylaxis, deep subgingival scaling, and root planning (Each hygienist is provided a full hour per patient and two hours as needed for SRP patients). We believe our patients deserve the full attention of their hygienist each time. Curettage, sealants, oral hygiene instructions as well as application of desensitizing and caries prevention medicaments. Reviews patient medical history, dental records, charts, and other pertinent information. Document encounters in an accurate and timely manner. Adheres to attendance standards in order to perform the job functions for daily operations and/or continuity of patient care. We use Dentrix Software. We offer all services at our practice.

Pay Range: $48.00 to $65.00
