Join our family-oriented single-doctor practice located in Sammamish, WA. With our beloved hygienist retiring after 18 years of service, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate hygienist to join our team. At our practice, we prioritize professionalism, patient care, and a positive work environment where laughter and camaraderie are valued.

Job Description:

As a Dental Hygienist at our practice, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of daily clinical activities. Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming patients and escorting them to the appropriate treatment room, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.


• Reviewing patient health histories, documenting medications and medical conditions, and noting any abnormalities to ensure comprehensive care.


• Setting up and breaking down operatory equipment and instruments in compliance with regulatory requirements and to maintain schedule efficiency.


• Providing dental and periodontal therapy to patients according to practice protocols, utilizing appropriate periodontal modalities for treatment and maintenance.


• Sending correspondence with pertinent follow-up documentation to referring doctors on the same day as the patient's appointment.


• Actively participating in daily morning huddles for schedule review and ensuring a smooth, productive day.


• Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, and participating in practice study clubs.


• Training and developing new hygienists, conducting educational training, and providing resources for patient care.


• Bringing innovative ideas and out-of-the-box thinking to advance company goals and improve patient care.

Qualifications:

• Valid dental hygienist license in the state of Washington.


• Proficiency in dental and periodontal therapy procedures, including patient education and preventive care.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-focused approach to care.


• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute to a positive work culture.


• Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and clinical excellence.

Compensation/Benefits:

Pay Range: $65.00 to $68.00

Bonus: No

401K:  Yes, match 3%.

Dental Insurance: Yes, free in-house dental for employee

Paid Time Off:  Vacation and Holiday Pay, 0-2 years, 3.08 pay period = 80 annually

Number of Sterilization Techs: 1

Requirements:                                                                 

Work Schedule: Monday and Wednesday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm; Tuesday and Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:00 pm. Mon & Wed: AM huddle 6:35 AM; the first patient is at 7:00 AM.
Tue & Thurs: AM huddle 7:35 AM; the first patient is at 8:00 AM. 

Years Experience Required:  New graduates and experienced welcome to apply!

Other Requirements:  · Maintains current BLS,
· State License Registrations or Certification as needed.
