Dental Hygienist Full-Time

Practice Description: For 40 years, our small, private dental practice has proudly served the Redmond area. We foster a friendly and cooperative team environment where employees thrive. Our typical hours are Tuesdays from 7:45 AM to 5:15 PM, and Wednesdays through Fridays from 6:45 AM to 4:15 PM.

Exciting News: Our new location will offer larger operatories, upgraded equipment, a cloud-based EMR, and the option for our hygienist to add a 5th workday as desired (not exceeding 40 hours a week).

Job Description: Our ideal candidate possesses the following qualities:

• Punctual, reliable, and adept at time management to maintain schedule efficiency.


• Detail-oriented and thorough in clinical technique and record-keeping.


• Friendly and attuned to ensuring a positive patient experience.


• Proficient communicator, capable of demonstrating and explaining proper at-home care to patients.


• Comfortable explaining and recommending treatment based on a doctor’s diagnosis.


• Team player, willing to assist in other areas of the practice as needed.


• Adaptable and eager to learn new procedures or technologies.


• Proficient with computer systems, digital x-rays, and chartless clinical notes.


• Capable of managing room turnaround and sterilization processes independently.


• Diligent in maintaining instruments in good working condition.

During hygiene appointments, our office emphasizes plaque disclosure and utilizes intraoral photos for patient education. We schedule 60-minute prophies and 80-90 minute SRP sessions for 2 quads (4341) or 3 quads (4342).

Compensation/Benefits:

Pay Range: Base pay starts at $65+/hour, equivalent to a base pay of $130k annually for a 40-hour workweek.

Bonus: $3000 loyalty bonus.

401K: Yes, with employer match for the first 5%.

Medical/Dental Insurance: Yes, provided through Regence. Dental care is covered for employees.

Paid Time Off: Employees accrue 1 hour of PTO per 40 hours worked at the current location and 90 hours of PTO at the new location.
