Dental Hygienist Full-Time

Practice Description:  Privately owned practice with many long-term employees and a large patient base. Easy-going providers focused on helping patients with varying needs from simple check-ups to complex full-mouth treatment. Very much a team-oriented office with a goal to make everyone's day run smoothly.

Job Description:  Review and update patient health histories.
Take patient x-rays.
Adult prophies and quad scaling.
Complete periodontal charting.
Place sealants.
Relay information to provider and front desk.
Accurately document treatment recommendations of the provider.
Provide clear next visit information for scheduling.
Schedule 6-month recall visits.
Hygiene supply ordering.
Help train Hygiene Assistant to complete tasks as you see fit.
Preferred but not required: Fill composite fillings, night-guard scans, in-house whitening for production percentage.

Compensation/Benefits:

Pay Range:  $65-$75/hr.

Bonus: TBD

Number of Dentists: 4

Number of Registered Dental Hygienists: 2

Number of Assistants: 4

Number of Front Office Staff: 4

Number of Sterilization Techs: 2

Requirements:                                                                 

Work Schedule:  Alternating weeks Mon-Thurs/Tues-Fri results in 4-day weekends every other week.  Hours are 7:30-4:00.  Additional hours available as needed.
Current hygienists see patients from 8am-4pm.
Lunch hour flexible: (15min break, 30min, 1hr)
Can see patients until 5pm if preferred.

Years Experience Required: 2

Required Skills: Customer service, self-motivated, problem-solver, team-oriented.
