Dental Hygienist Full-Time
Practice Description: This office is a privately-owned general dental office located in Forest Office Park in Bellevue, Washington. The staff is experienced, collaborative, and passionate about providing dental care to our community. We have a happy work environment, which our patients notice and appreciate every time they come for a visit. We have hundreds of five-star reviews on Google and a large base of friendly patients who have been coming to our practice for many years.
Before becoming a dentist, this doctor practiced as a dental hygienist and still participates as an instructor for educational dental hygiene seminars. She knows that dental hygiene is a very important part of oral care and advocates for the hygienists on her team.
Job Description: Our practice utilizes modern equipment and software (Dentrix and Dexis), and treats patients of all ages and backgrounds. We are always looking for new tools and products to improve the experience and outcome of our patients.
* Registered Dental Hygienist who:
*Has a valid, active license to practice
*3+ years of experience as a dental hygienist
*Is enthusiastic about the practice of dental hygiene, and seeks out ways to learn and grow
*Wants to be a part of a collaborative team that helps and supports each other
*Is interested in getting to know your patients, and listening to their needs
*Is comfortable speaking to patients, doctors, and staff
Pay Range: $62.00 to $70.00

Work Schedule: Mon-Thurs, 7 am to 4 pm

*Conducting initial patient screenings
*Advising patients on oral health and preventative care
*Participating in the dental treatment of patients by performing dental prophylaxis, root planing,
sealants placement, application of topical fluorides, examination of teeth
*Reviewing health history with each visit
*Charting conditions of decay and disease
*Providing oral cancer screening and radiographic studies
*Assisting the doctor in treatment decisions for teeth or gum diseases and handling dental
*Complying with HIPAA and WISHA regulations
*Cleaning hygiene room, sterilizing instruments, and preparing hygiene room for patients
