Dental Hygienist F/T or P/T

Job Description: We seek a hygienist with:

• A passion for patient education and engagement

• Ability to deliver exceptional care

• Strong interpersonal and clinical skills

• Computer proficiency (knowledge of Open Dental is advantageous)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Responsibilities:

• Hygienists typically see up to 8 patients daily

• New patient appointments: 1.5 hours with possible x-ray assistance from dental assistants

• S/RP appointments: 1.5 hours per half mouth, subject to discussion based on patient complexity

• Assist with instrument/room turnover due to our small office size

• Schedule re-care appointments in the operatory when possible

• Charting/Treatment Planning on Open Dental Software

Compensation:

• Pay Range: $55,000 - $65,000

• Medical Insurance: Yes (Regence Silver)

• Vision and Dental Insurance: Yes

• No Life Insurance or Disability coverage

• Paid Time Off: Vacation Pay, Holiday Pay (accrual based on years worked and days per week)

• 401K: Yes, with 3% matching

Describe Schedule Hours: Typically 8-5 with a lunch break from 1-2, except getting off on Thursdays at 4.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in taking X-rays


• Ability to set up and turn over rooms efficiently


• Computer skills, preferably with experience in dental software


• Proficiency in hand and ultrasonic scaling


• Attention to infection control protocols
