Practice Overview: Belltown General Dentistry is a vibrant and welcoming dental office located in the heart of Belltown. Our office environment is fun and relaxed, yet we are dedicated to providing high-quality dental care to our patients. New graduates are encouraged and welcomed to join our team. We utilize Dentrix with Dexis X-ray system to ensure efficient and comprehensive dental care for our patients.

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Dental Hygienist to join our team at Belltown General Dentistry. As a key member of our practice, you will play a crucial role in promoting dental health and providing exceptional care to our patients. The ideal candidate will be skilled in completing dental prophylaxis, conducting oral cancer screenings and radiographic studies, and charting conditions of decay and disease in compliance with the dental practice act.

Responsibilities:

• Perform dental prophylaxis (cleanings) to remove plaque, calculus, and stains from teeth.


• Conduct oral cancer screenings and radiographic studies to detect abnormalities.


• Chart conditions of decay and disease, and communicate findings to the dentist.


• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.


• Assist with scheduling and coordinating patient appointments as needed.


• Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.

Requirements:

Active dental hygiene license in Washington.

Knowledge of Dentrix software and Dexis X-ray system preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Motivated and dedicated to providing high-quality patient care.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Compensation/Benefits:

Pay Range:  $50-$75/hr 

Bonus:  Possibly

Work Schedule:  Monday 7:30am-4:00pm, Tuesday 10:00am-7:00pm, Wednesday 7:30am-4:00pm, Thursday 10:00am-7:00pm, Friday 7:30am-4:00pm (Can be flexible with days, hours etc.)
