Dental Assistant Full-Time

Job Description:  We are seeking a dental assistant who would like to be part of our growing team. Maintaining a standard of excellence is important to us, so the right fit is imperative! This valuable team member would be responsible for chair side assisting, instrument sterilization, room set ups, inventory control, hygiene support and helping out with additional tasks when needed. Minimum of 3 years of dental assisting experience required

· Confidence in abilities as a dental assistant with the capacity to communicate a treatment plan well to patients and administrative staff

· Willingness to be flexible and adapt to our protocols

· Ability to work at a fast pace and help out where needed, while staying on time

· Excellent people skills

· Computer proficiency

· Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task and prioritize projects

· Proficient at Rubber Dam and Isolite Placement

· Experience working with dental implants, crown and bridge, removable appliances, root canal treatments, and working well with all ages

· Must be meticulous about sterile chain and OSHA guidelines

Compensation/Benefits:

Pay Range: $25-$28 per hour
401K: Yes a Simple IRA
Medical: Yes, $200/mo provided for employee to purchase their own insurance.
Dental Insurance: In-office benefit provided
Paid Time Off: Vacation Pay, Holiday Pay, Sick Pay.

Staff Details:

Number of Dentists: 2

Number of Registered Dental Hygienists: 6

Number of Assistants: 2

Number of Front Office Staff: 4

Number of Sterilization Techs: 3

Requirements:                                                                 

Work Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 12-7, Friday 7-4 and every other Saturday 8-2.  Work on Wednesdays is an option.

Required Skills:Temporary crowns, take x-rays, assist with multiple procedures.
