Practice Description:  We are a busy, established general dental practice near Puyallup looking for a well qualified Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. The applicant must be reliable, energetic, have great communication skills and work well in a team. Must be proficient in all aspects of dentistry. We provide excellent dental care in a fun environment and are looking for someone who can take great care of our patients. Competitive pay based on skills and experience.


Job DescriptionWelcome customers in the dental office
Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
Undertake lab tasks as instructed
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
Schedule appointments
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures


Compensation/Benefits:


Pay Range:  $25-$29/hr DOE.

Required Qualifications :

Requirements:                                                                 


Work Schedule:  Monday 10-6, Tuesday 12-8, Wednesday 10-6, Thursday 9-5, alternating Fridays & Saturdays hours 8-2.


Years Experience Required: 2


Required Skills:  Proven experience as a dental assistant
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is a plus
Good computer skills
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred
Additional certification or training is an asset (e.g. EFDA)
