Job Description:

Are you passionate about dentistry and eager to learn? Our family practice is seeking a dental assistant to join our team. While prior experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right person who demonstrates enthusiasm, dedication, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during procedures, including chair-side support and instrument sterilization.


• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure they are stocked with necessary supplies.


• Take dental X-rays and impressions as directed by the dentist.


• Provide patient education on oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care.


• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.


• Ensure infection control protocols are followed to maintain a clean and safe environment.


• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Completion of a dental assistant training program preferred but not required.


• Willingness to learn and take direction from supervising dentist and senior staff members.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.


• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a high standard of care.


• Positive attitude and dedication to providing a positive patient experience.

Compensation/Benefits:

Pay Range: $24.00 to $32.00

Bonus: Possibly

Requirements:                                                                 

Work Schedule: Mon-Thur 7:30-5:00

Years Experience Required: 1 year preferred, but will consider a new grad.

Required Skills: 4-handed, sterilization, team player
