Job Description: We are currently seeking a Dental Assistant II to join our team. As a key member of our practice, the Dental Assistant II will play a vital role in assisting the dentist with various procedures and providing exceptional care to our patients. The ideal candidate will be skilled, organized, reliable, and adept at working with patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during procedures, including fillings, crown preparations (packing cord and making temps), and taking impressions.

• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all necessary instruments and materials are readily available.

• Take and develop dental radiographs as directed by the dentist.

• Provide chair-side assistance and anticipate the needs of the dentist.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the treatment area and equipment.

• Communicate effectively with patients to ensure their comfort and well-being.

• Collaborate with the dental team to optimize workflow and patient satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a dental assistant, preferably in a similar setting.

• Certification or licensure as a Dental Assistant in Washington.

• Proficiency in dental procedures including fillings, crown preparations, impressions, and radiographs.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with patients and colleagues.

• Organized, reliable, and drama-free attitude.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
