Hygiene Assistant Part-Time

Practice Description:  Our relaxed and welcoming Federal Way dental practice is seeking a friendly and outgoing Dental Assistant 2 days/week (Tues/Thurs) to assist in our Hygiene department.

Job Description:  Job responsibilities include: greeting patient, reviewing health histories, taking x-rays, polishing (prophy), assisting hygienist, charting notes on Dentrix.  Bi-lingual in Russian/Ukrainian a BIG PLUS!

Compensation/Benefits:

Pay Range:  $20-$24/hr.

Bonus: TBD

Number of Dentists: 2

Number of Registered Dental Hygienists: 1

Number of Assistants: 2

Number of Front Office Staff: 2

Number of Sterilization Techs: 0

Requirements:                                                                 

Work Schedule:  PT, Tues/Thurs hours 8:20-5:00 (lunch 1-2pm).

Years Experience Required:  1 year preferred, but will consider 6 months of chairside experience.

Required Skills: Willing to train, but candidate should have at least 6 months experience of chairside assisting.

Other Requirements:  Knowledge of Dentrix a plus. Also Russian/Ukrainian speaking a BIG PLUS.
