Surgical Dental Assistant Full-Time

Job Description: We are seeking a dental assistant to join our surgical periodontal practice, working alongside one doctor. Responsibilities include chairside assistance, taking X-rays (including BWX, FMX, and PA's), digital periocharting, obtaining vitals, and completing digital chart notes. Additionally, the role involves proofreading letters to referring offices and emails through our dental program.
Compensation/Benefits:
Pay Range: $27.00 to $32.00 per hour

Requirements:
Work Schedule: Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. Patients scheduled 8-12 and 1-4. 1-hour lunch and 1 hour at the end of the day for clean up and next day prep.
Years Experience Required: 3
Required Skills:
Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience in periodontal or oral surgery offices is preferred.
Current Washington State Dental Assistant License.
Completion of a recognized Dental Assistant course program.
Working knowledge of dental software for digital patient charting.
Computer knowledge to be able to proofread letters, attach x-rays/periocharting, and send letters electronically.
Working knowledge of dental radiograph techniques and principles.
Ability to manage your own and patient schedules.
Ability to communicate with patients professionally.
Ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
